Jedwards International, Inc. is a wholesale bulk supplier of Virgin Organic Grape Seed Oil.
Organic certified grape seed oil, commonly referred to by its botanical name Vitis vinifera, is cold-pressed extracted from the seeds of the grape. This variety of organic grape seed oil is virgin, otherwise referred to as unrefined, and yields a dark green to brown appearance with a strong characteristic aroma and flavor profile. Due to the nature of this material, the aroma of some lots may closely resemble the aroma of balsamic vinegar, which is a typical scent of this unrefined material. Grape seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids such as Oleic (C18:1) and Linoleic (C18:2) and has a relatively high smoke point. Virgin organic grape seed oil is widely used in personal-care and cosmetic applications as well as throughout food and beverage manufacturing. In the cosmetic industry, grape seed oil is used in topical skin formulations along with in hair products for its emollient properties. It is known to naturally retain moisture when applied to the skin, promote skin repair and elasticity, and treat damaged hair. Massage therapists often combine grape seed oil with other carrier oils due to its natural absorption into the epidermis. For culinary purposes, virgin grape seed oil is sought after for salad dressings, sauces, or used alone as a cooking oil for its high content of linoleic fatty acids, providing nutritional benefits. Please note pre-shipment lot specific samples may be available upon request if you are particular about this product’s aroma.

What is your order processing time?
Current processing time is up to one week, exceptions may apply.

What is the difference between Virgin and Refined?
Virgin is considered the natural/raw material with the characteristic color, flavor, and aroma. Refining removes these properties so the material is a lighter shade than the virgin material and often times clear, off-white, or white with little-to-no scent or flavor.

What does RBD mean?
Refined, bleached (non-chemical process), deodorized. An "RBDW" product goes through a winterization ("W") process in addition to the RBD process.

What does "deodorized" mean?
Deodorized materials go through a non-chemical, high-vacuum process to reduce their natural aroma. While the aroma is not removed fully, a deodorized product’s aroma is less potent than the natural or unrefined variety.

What is the difference between Organic-certified and non-Organic?
QAI is our Organic Certifying Agency. Organic certification verifies that your farm or handling facility—located anywhere in the world—complies with the USDA organic regulations and allows you to sell, label, and represent your products as organic.

What does Non-GMO mean?
Non-Genetically Modified Organism; by definition, all Organic Certified materials are Non-GMO.
