Emulsifiers allow a recipe to remain homogenous and consistent, creating a creamy, smooth texture in the end-product such as in toners, creams, lotions, sunscreens, and body butters. A vegetable derived wax, the NF in its name implies it conforms to specifications of the National Formulary standard.
