Broccoli Seed oil is an advantageous carrier oil providing powerful emollient and hydration properties for the skin and hair. This virgin raw material is CO2 supercritical extracted from the seeds of Brassica oleracea var, yielding a golden yellow appearance with a potent characteristic aroma. As a lightweight non-greasy oil, broccoli seed oil is a preferred carrier in a wide range of cosmetic and personal-care formulations such as serums, facial masks, eye creams, conditioners, creams, lotions, and lip balms. With a unique composition of essential fatty acids and high vitamin content, broccoli seed oil is believed to promote skin regeneration, treat dry hair follicles, and protect against environmental damage.

Virgin is considered the natural/raw material with the characteristic color, flavor, and aroma. Refining removes these properties so the material is a lighter shade than the virgin material and often times clear, off-white, or white with little-to-no scent or flavor.
Refined, bleached (non-chemical process), deodorized. An "RBDW" product goes through a winterization ("W") process in addition to the RBD process.
Deodorized materials go through a non-chemical, high-vacuum process to reduce their natural aroma. While the aroma is not removed fully, a deodorized product’s aroma is less potent than the natural or unrefined variety.
