Mediterranean Sea Salt is a 100% natural white crystalline salt with a typical mesh size ranging from 0.3 – 0.7mm. Our Mediterranean sea salt is harvested on the west coast of Sicily, Italy, or a region in Spain, locations with ideal conditions to produce the highest quality. Unlike common table salt which allows anti-caking agents and up to 18 food additives, our Mediterranean sea salt is free of these. Additionally, whereas the minerals are stripped from table salt, they are left intact during the production of sea salt. Applications consist primarily of food and beverage manufacturing, baked goods, seasoning and marinating of meats, and to preserve food and extend shelf life. Sea salt is also used in personal-care products to deeply cleanse pores, balance the skin’s oil production, and act as a natural detoxifier and cleanser.
