Allulose / Kosher / Conventional
Allulose, also known as D-Psicose, is considered a rare sugar derived from edible plants and fruits such as figs, jackfruit, and raisins. A low-calorie simple sugar with roughly a tenth of the calorie content as table sugar, allulose yields a similar flavor profile with notably reduced sweetness as sucrose. Applications include baking and food and beverage manufacturing with the main objective to reduce overall sugar content.
