This raw material yields a dark green to brown appearance with a characteristic earthy aroma and flavor profile. Common names for pataua oil include seje, ungurahui, mingucha, and bataua oil. Bulk pataua oil contains a naturally high level of oleic acid and vitamin E content, providing effective moisturizing properties in cosmetic and personal care formulations. Most known for benefiting haircare applications, such as in strengthening serums, scalp treatments, shampoos, and conditioners, pataua oil restores moisture and shine while reducing frizziness of dry or damaged hair.
