Palm Fruit Oil – Organic RSPO IP, botanical name Elaeis guineensis, is one of the world’s most popular vegetable oils. This versatile material carries a natural creamy texture and used for food and beverage manufacturing and in cosmetic and personal-care applications. Commonly referred to as no stir palm oil, this is 100% comprised of palm, with a slightly reduced fatty acid profile making it more stable and resistant to oxidation. No stir implies that this material does not separate, compared to other palm oils which have liquid settling on top requiring further mixing. It is ideal for cosmetic formulations such as lotions, body butters, and topical creams. In addition to organic certification, this palm fruit oil option carries RSPO Certification, otherwise known as Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, guaranteeing the sustainability and traceability of the palm oil production throughout the supply chain. RSPO-IP (Identity Preserved) certification is one of four certification levels offered by the RSPO and carries the highest and strongest level of sustainable guarantee with traceability of each lot of palm oil back to the field of origin. With Identify Preserved sustainable palm oil, the entire batch of palm oil is from a single identifiable certified source and kept separate from all non-certified batches.

What is your order processing time?
Current processing time is up to one week, exceptions may apply.

What is the difference between Virgin and Refined?
Virgin is considered the natural/raw material with the characteristic color, flavor, and aroma. Refining removes these properties so the material is a lighter shade than the virgin material and often times clear, off-white, or white with little-to-no scent or flavor.

What does RBD mean?
Refined, bleached (non-chemical process), deodorized. An "RBDW" product goes through a winterization ("W") process in addition to the RBD process.

What does "deodorized" mean?
Deodorized materials go through a non-chemical, high-vacuum process to reduce their natural aroma. While the aroma is not removed fully, a deodorized product’s aroma is less potent than the natural or unrefined variety.

What is the difference between Organic-certified and non-Organic?
QAI is our Organic Certifying Agency. Organic certification verifies that your farm or handling facility—located anywhere in the world—complies with the USDA organic regulations and allows you to sell, label, and represent your products as organic.

What does Non-GMO mean?
Non-Genetically Modified Organism; by definition, all Organic Certified materials are Non-GMO.
