Helichrysum Oil

It is estimated that between 1 to 1.5 tons of the Helichrysum italicum plant is required to extract 1 liter of Helichrysum essential oil, resulting in it being one of the more expensive essential oils on the market today. In the cosmetic and personal care industry, manufacturers add helichrsysum oil in formulations with carrier oils such as coconut or jojoba oil. In the nutritional industry, helichrysum essential oil has received press for its believed health benefits.
