The yielded oil exhibits a light-yellow appearance with a bland yet characteristic aroma. Meadowfoam seed oil is procured across the personal-care and cosmetic industries for its highly emollient properties, providing advantageous moisturization to topical products targeting the skin and hair. Much like jojoba oil, virgin meadowfoam oil provides hydration to the skin without leaving a greasy feel or residue, a preferred attribute in skincare products. Meadowfoam seed oil is known for its natural stability and resistance to rancidity due to its composition of over 98% long chain fatty acids.
