Manuka Honey MGO 263+ is produced in New Zealand by bees that pollinate the Manuka bush Leptospermum scoparium. Manuka honey is coveted for its naturally occurring levels of the organic compound methylglyoxal, often abbreviated as MGO. This highly viscous liquid is light to dark amber in color, carries a characteristic strong honey aroma, and holds a bittersweet flavor profile. This variety of honey contains a minimum of 263mg of MGO per kilogram as noted by the name.
