This Cymbopogon citratus variety of lemongrass oil is desired for its powerful characteristic fresh lemon aroma, widely used for aromatherapy and massage therapy, personal-care and cosmetic product manufacturing, natural cleaning applications, and as a popular fragrance additive. Due to its naturally occurring high content of citral, lemongrass citratus oil is an effective ingredient in natural bug repellants and outdoor candles.
