Super Organic Lavandin Oil is steam distilled from the plant Lavandula hybrida. The Lavandin plant is a naturally occurring hybrid of two lavender varieties, True Lavender and Spike Lavender. It has a distinctive combined aroma of both lavender plants with notable floral and camphor notes. Many consider this to be a more accessible lavender alternative, as it is cheaper due to the large size of the plant yielding more oil. This fresh scented oil is widely used in soapmaking, perfumery applications, and throughout the personal-care and cosmetic industry in everyday products such as moisturizers, lotions, and haircare treatments. It is common for formulators to use Lavandin oil in conjunction with Lavender oil to enhance the properties of both.
