Laurel Leaf oil is steam-distilled from the evergreen shrub Laurus nobilis also known as Bay Laurel or Bay Leaf tree. The yielded oil carries an herbaceous aroma with notes of sweetness and spice. This steam-distilled essential oil is a highly desired ingredient throughout the soaping industry and widely utilized for aromatherapy, pairing well with various citrus aromas. In the cosmetic and personal-care realm, laurel leaf oil may be utilized in formulations for topical creams, soaps, serums, and balms.
