This material is produced via the reaction of water with propylene oxide and removing the residual water by evaporation and further distillation. Dipropylene glycol F is a high purity ingredient procured for aroma-sensitive applications for industrial use as well as in cosmetic and personal-care manufacturing of fragrances. The F in the product name refers to this variety of Dipropylene Glycol being Fragrance Grade.
