Organic Cinnamon Leaf oil is steam distilled from cinnamon leaves of the Lauraceae (Laurel) family, a bushy tropical evergreen that ranges in height from 5-15 meters. The tree bears small green leaves, white flowers, and small purple berries. The leaves are thick and lanceolate in shape, becoming leathery when they mature. Organic cinnamon leaf oil is classified as a middle note essential oil, yields an appealing spicy aroma, and coveted for this warm rich fragrance. It is a desired ingredient in personal-care and cosmetics such as toiletries and perfumes, the soaping industry, along with finding use in insect repellents, home décor and diffusers, and seasonal embellishments.
