Cocoa Derivatives / Conventional

Cocoa ingredients are derived from the cocoa tree (Theobroma cacao). Each tree yields what is known as a cocoa pod, encasing typically 20 to 60 seeds called cocoa beans. The cocoa beans are removed from the pod and further processed into cocoa butter, cocoa nibs, cocoa liquor, and cocoa powder. These cocoa ingredients are then utilized in finished product applications in the chocolate, food manufacturing, personal care, cosmetics, and soap making industries.
