Bayberry Wax / Kosher

Bayberry wax, otherwise referred to as myrtle wax, is a waxy substance utilized in candle making, soap bars, salves, and creams. This wax is used by formulators in place of, or alongside, beeswax to increase its melting point. In addition to promoting skincare and aromatherapy benefits, bayberry wax functions as a stabilizer, thickener, or emollient, and alters viscosity in a formulation. Other applications include industrial uses such as coating or lubricating various surfaces.
