Jedwards International, Inc. is a wholesale bulk supplier of Abyssinian Oil, also known as Crambe oil.
Abyssinian Oil, also referred to as Crambe Oil, is expeller pressed from the seeds of the African plant Crambe abyssinica. This natural raw material is clear yellow in appearance with a neutral aroma. It is a unique source for omega-9 fatty acid content which is highly desired for nail and cuticle care formulations. In addition to being a source of omega-9 Oleic and omega-6 Linoleic acids, Abyssinian oil contains Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant.

Abyssinian oil is a lightweight material with a non-greasy feel when applied to the hair and skin as it is most comparable to the natural oils produced by the human skin. It is an ideal ingredient in hydrating and moisturizing personal-care formulations and most known for its promotion of healthy hair shine, conditioning, and treating dry, damaged, or brittle hair. Serums, lotions, masks, and creams are everyday consumer products that may utilize the natural benefits this oil has to offer. Abyssinian Oil is for Cosmetic Use Only .

What is your order processing time?
Current processing time is up to one week, exceptions may apply.

What is the difference between Virgin and Refined?
Virgin is considered the natural/raw material with the characteristic color, flavor, and aroma. Refining removes these properties so the material is a lighter shade than the virgin material and often times clear, off-white, or white with little-to-no scent or flavor.

What does RBD mean?
Refined, bleached (non-chemical process), deodorized. An "RBDW" product goes through a winterization ("W") process in addition to the RBD process.

What does "deodorized" mean?
Deodorized materials go through a non-chemical, high-vacuum process to reduce their natural aroma. While the aroma is not removed fully, a deodorized product’s aroma is less potent than the natural or unrefined variety.

What is the difference between Organic-certified and non-Organic?
QAI is our Organic Certifying Agency. Organic certification verifies that your farm or handling facility—located anywhere in the world—complies with the USDA organic regulations and allows you to sell, label, and represent your products as organic.

What does Non-GMO mean?
Non-Genetically Modified Organism; by definition, all Organic Certified materials are Non-GMO.
