Blue Tansy Oil is a pure essential oil steam distilled from the leaves, flowers, and stems of the Tanacetum annum plant, a species of the Asteraceae family. This highly desired vegan and Non-GMO essential oil is sought-after throughout the personal-care and cosmetic industries; found in a wide range of topical skincare formulations. Due to its naturally occurring level of chamazulene content, Blue Tansy Oil is commonly found in personal-care products that make claims to reducing blemishes and repairing dried or damaged skin cells. In addition to the manufacturing of beauty products, Blue Tansy oil is a common ingredient for aromatherapists for its warm, floral, sweet herbaceous aroma. Its characteristic natural blue color will carry through to an end-product depending on the concentration of blue tansy oil used in the formula. Please note, pure essential oils are highly concentrated and should be handled with care. Variation of color from lot to lot is to be expected.
