Living in the country, works perfectly to keep field mice, moles, chipmunk and Squirrels at bay. They hate the smell of peppermint but it is relaxing to the outdoor smell. Usually get 4 bottles, mix a bottle with a container of Home Defense and not only keeps the critters away, but also takes care of ants and spiders to boot. Highly recommend !!

I use this oil to make my soaps and body wash, also to keep rats away from my garbage boy I tell you it really works also very strong mint smell so strong it burns your eyes

I ordered a few bottles of peppermint oil hesitantly for my home as a deterrent for field mice as a natural non-toxic remedy, let me tell you, IT WORKED! A little diluted in a spray bottle does a lot, and the bonus, it leaves a very pleasant aroma in the house. My guess always want peppermint candy as they visit. I use it in every cleaner for the house.
