Virgin Organic Argan Oil, commonly referred to as Moroccan oil given it's origin, is cold pressed extracted from the nuts of the argan tree (Argania spinosa), resulting in an oil with a pale yellow color and nutty flavor. Virgin organic argan oil has a powerful characteristic odor, especially when compared to our deodorized variety. This is supper gorgeous + Lovely Argan oil, I always store my oils in the fridge to make sure they stay fresh for a long time and the consistency is really on point, it is so hydrating and adds a lot of sealed moisture to all my formulas. Thank you!
I use it in a 1:4 ratio with infused and 1st-cold pressed olive oils to make my own Greek/Italian salad dressing. Diabetic controlled with diet alone. The nutty flavor clashes slightly with the orange/lemon/raspberry flavors I base the dressing on, and I like the dressing better without it. However my body disagrees with me. I find that I eat about half as much salad with the Argan-less dressing, I eat more carbs because of that, and my A1C ends up higher.
